I laughed my butt off McD's new cup

To be fair...if the hands were on the cup I would buy some coffee just to get what is assured to be a collectors item.

The new holiday McCafé cup at McDonald's is causing quite a stir after people have been adding a few extra lines to make it a truly naughty season.
 
What was intended to be a pair of mittens with "Warmest Greetings" emblazoned upon them has become something very funny.
 
The alterations have caught fire on the Internet as the new image has become something that you can't un-see.
 
As to not fall behind a public relations situation, McDonald's tried to have a little fun and not be the butt of all jokes.
 
“Our festive McCafé cups are pictures of mittens, not hands,” a rep for McDonald’s told us that “The altered image circulating on social media is the result of someone getting a little cheeky and adding some hand-drawing to a cup.”

But, not butt, it's great PR and I'm sure that the folks at the golden arches are rubbing their mittened hands all the way to the bank.
