Very Friendly

I have been to Bucky's several times and each time I am well fed and treated like a friend. Steve and Kelly are like old friends that are happy to see you. Even though I have only been going there occasionally for a few months. Today I arrived at 12:50pm. Chatted outside, was invited in for coffee, decided to eat. Had a nice meal and happed to ask what time they close on Sunday. The answer was 1pm.It was now 1:45pm. I suggested I should go so they could clean up and leave and was told ," no rush". When I...

What do you want to Eat

What do you want to eat... a pretty commonly used fraise in the restraunty/ coffe shop world, But at Buckys it isnt used quite in the same way you would think... Ill never forget the day bucky came to my table and said.... Amy what do you want to eat? I simply replied ... well I havent finished looking at the menu, And was shocked when I was once again asked...." No No what do you want to eat forget the menu! and coming from a girl who likes to eat (lol) That made my day.... I simplied told him eggs...

My wife to be and I moved to the little community of Ayr about 6 months ago. It took us a couple of weeks to find our new favourite coffee shop and breakfast place. Immediately from the first time we went in we knew this was a place we would be visiting again and again. The service is second to none and the food is top notch. In this economy I don't know where else you get a stellar breakfast for two people for under 10 dollars. I was shocked to see everything cost $4.50 and that includes your coffee. BTW...

Bucky's Breakfast Nook

Steve and Kelly welcome old-timers and newbies with the same “banter” usually extended to rival siblings. The seating is limited to a few tables and a counter that seats customers as close to the “chef” as a Teppanyaki chef’s griddle. Bucky’s is an open concept kitchen that predated the New York City trend though both were necessitated by their small space.

In a quiet sleepy town lives a great coffee shop


This is a great place to go for a coffee and a tasty meal. The owners Steve and Kelly make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the front door. Make sure to ask for the house special, the western omelet Going back there for sure..
