Shout out to Community Coffee for good deed!
Posted on: 2016-08-19 10:10 AM Community Coffee Company is providing Community coffee to flood evacuees and emergency workers at Celtic Media Centre in Baton Rouge, Lamar Dixon Center in Gonzales, American Red Cross shelters and through the Salvation Army. More than 24,000 cups of Community coffee has been provided throughout these shelters.
“While we are saddened that the recent flooding has had such a profound impact on south Louisiana, we understand that a cup of Community coffee can go a long way to help people feel a sense of normalcy,” said David Belanger, President & CEO of Community Coffee Company. “We want to ensure our neighbors and first responders have the State Coffee of LouisianaTM to support their flood response and rebuilding efforts.”
Starting the day after the storm, Community Coffee Company began supporting its local communities and victims of the recent flooding in south Louisiana through a cup of coffee. Community Coffee team members will be serving coffee at these shelters throughout the week and will continue to supply area shelters until the threat subsides.
