Back to School gifts for Teacher

Back to school is around the corner and what better way to get into teacher's good books than a little coffee.  Let's face it, it's not just the kids who've been staying up late all summer. To top it off teachers have most likely been in the classroom already getting ready to fill the little minds with knowledge. I can't think of a better way for you to get your teachers attention than a nice coffee or tea themed gift to start the year off.

Here are my top suggestions:

Gift card from her favorite local coffee shop.  Many stores are offering on-line services to order gift cards.
If they don't have one then stop in and visit your local coffee shop to see if they have a gift card. Many of them do.

If your teacher is the environmental type, a fair trade organic coffee like those from 23 degreesroastary in Toronto.

Or from Relay Coffee Roasters in Hamilton Ontario.


A new mug to hold her coffee is always a good idea. I'd stay away from favorite teacher mugs and go with something a little more fun like the mugs you can find at the Unemployed Philosiphers Guild.
